Acrylic Art For All Levels(Winter Scene)

Service Description

This six-week introductory acrylic painting course is open to anyone ages 12 and up and is ideal for beginners or those looking to strengthen foundational painting skills. Taught by Lona of Lona Belle’s Art, a lifelong artist known for her landscapes and wildlife work, the class offers a relaxed, supportive environment focused on learning and creative confidence. Classes are held Monday evenings from 5:30–7:30 PM at Jaffray United Church, beginning January 19 and running weekly for six consecutive weeks. Students will be guided step by step through the creation of a winter landscape scene while learning essential acrylic techniques such as brush control, colour mixing, layering, and basic composition. Instruction includes demonstrations, visual references, and individual guidance throughout each class. If time allows, students may also work on a personal project with support from Lona. All materials are provided, no prior experience is required, and each participant will leave with finished artwork and a stronger understanding of acrylic painting techniques.
